If you're going on a ring road trip, you'll pass through the lovely Eastfjords. Although there aren't as many "big ticket" stops, you are surely going to be charmed by the area we affectionately call The Shire. Unfortunately the weather was bad when we went to the east the last two times, so you'll have to stay tuned for more photos and sights until our epic 2016 road trip is done. For now, follow The Photographer Map of Iceland's suggestions and you'll do just fine!
Fossárdalur
This is going to be a little annoying to hear, but we can't remember exactly where this waterfall is (there are A LOT of them, okay!) and we can't find any map that lists it. The only reason we know the name is because some random person from the internet told us. What we can tell you is that it's off to the north side of the road on the western part of the Eastfjords. But so are about a gazillion other waterfalls. So, uh, if you find this one, gold stars for you!
